Initially the investor was willing to move restaurant and bar into shipping containers, which would be imported only for the holidays. During the first field inspection we've found, that our plan can be realized by adapting old, neglected buildings, belonging to the same recreation center. Except of financial aspect, this solution has other advantages: it allows the restaurant to function for the entire year, while the area planned for containers will remain available for sunbathers.
Consequently, we have completed plan of the restoration of existing buildings, as well established a common visual denominator for the bar and restaurant. We've focused on white, connected with blue and red accents, referring to corporate identity of the center.
Taking into consideration location of the complex, we've set ourselves a priority - arranging the restaurant in a way, that will allow all of the guests enjoy the view at the lake. That’s why height of the seats increases proportional to the distance from the water. There are deck chairs, regular tables with chairs and swings, and the bench at the level of the parapet on opposite site of the room.
Second part of the project determines the bar, which operates only in the summer. Therefore, it can be opened to the environment much more than a restaurant, or even partially grab it into the interior. By spilling sand on the floor, customers can use the bar without leaving the beach. The only decorative element are refreshed pedalos, found at the resort.
